Where should I place the favicon html tag?

I believe I have read somewhere about favicon placement but I can't find it in the support forum and FAQ. Where can I place the html tag to enable the favicon? Should I host my favicon somewhere or upload it directly? somebody please help. Thanking in advance.

Hi, I thought the Favicon tutorial was posted, sorry about that -_-

First of all, the picture you want to have as a favicon must but a icon folder (.ico) so you need to find somewhere to host it that would keep that.
Then, you need to insert it's code in 'Other Meta Tags' in Admin Panel, Home page configuration.

Meanwhile, I'll try see that the tutorial be posted in the FAQ

the only problem we have about it is that besides FTP accounts, we don't know any direct host which have these criterions :

- In English
- Allows hotlink
- Allows .ico formats
- Links are short

Thanks Caihlem and Katt. I have tried using file hosting website in French, which is normally very user-friend. So it is not necessary in English. But as Katt said, to find a hosting site allowing ico format is a daunting task. Create a FTP account just for a favicon may not be productive. Thanks again.
