New members not allowed to join my site?

I built a forum for my friends' clan and for some reason nobody can join. First, a few of my members couldn't select the username they wanted; the forum said they were taken but I was the only member at the time. Thats not the big problem though. Now, it's saying admin restricted new members from joining, meanwhile, under user options it says that it will allow new members. I do not want to have to make a new site because of the work I've put in on this one, so does anybody know what the problem is? If you need to check and see, the forum is godzxhalo.forumotion.com. Please help ASAP!

I honestly didn't think I would get a reply that fast. The new members joining problem is fixed, but do you know why my friend is forbidden from using the name he wants, even though nobody else in the forum has his name?

Try the following,

ACP >> General >> Security >> Unauthorize subscriptions made with the most commonly used spam usernames. : No

I tried changing it after that but it still says name taken. It's ok though, thanks for helping with the other thing.
