adding a welcome for guests and members

is there a way that i can add a code to the forum where the announcment usually goes at the top that can show welcome (membername code) than blah blah blah, and welcome them back to the forum, than for the guests also, where it can say welcome guests (since their not a member) to view the full forum, register, blah blah blah, etc.. i hope i wrote it the best way to describe what im talkin about.

From what I can tell this is not an option. But I hope that someone proves me wrong, as I would like this feature.

If we find that it is not available, if it has not been already suggested, you might to start the suggestion in the Suggestions for your forum in the Suggestion section.

I would definately vote for it, and hope it is possible now.

BTW, where in Indiana are you from? I was born in Fort Wayne, and have also lived in Peru, Bunkerhill, Flora, and Monticello.
