Gallery Question

Hiya Everyone.

One of the forum members is unable to upload their pics to the Gallery. They have been able to do it in the past, but now keep getting a message saying that they need approval.

Can anyone tell me how to get round this please, Thanks a lot.

Go to your Admin Panel >> Modules >> Gallery >> Personal Albums check to see if you have the "Personal Albums must be approved by an Admin or Mod" checked yes or no. It is likely that u have it checked as Yes, which is why your member is getting that message.

So I have the box checked "approval needed by admin" and I know that some members have added pics to their personal albums....so how can I as admin, approve them so that others (including me!) can actually view them! I only know there are pics there because I added one myself as a member, another member told me she had tried to add a pic and wasn't sure where it went, and also when I go into the admin panel, I can see the storage of the album and it lists the members who have added pics and how many.

So I just want to know how I can approve them all for viewing?? Thanks

Hi,

this is because in the gallery settings you have selected that members must be approved by the admin to upload pics you must go back through the settings and change this.
