So I have phpbb2 forum right now and planning to upgrade to phpbb3 but is it possible to upgrade it without losing anything? Confused

When you change versions, your CSS is erased and replaced with the new one. It will depend on which version you change to, but phpBB 2 and punBB are the only two with template editing. JavaScript codes could not work if they are made specific for a certain version. That also goes with CSS. Each version has different elements.
