More than one rank

How do I give a member more than one rank?

I tried following that tutorial but it confuses me. I want to give a Moderator at my forum two ranks, but that tutorial is confusing >_<

The whole thing ! What is "adm" is that short for Administrator? And then this code :

Yeah. But I found another method than this. I just made two ranks into one picture. So I'll just mark this as solved.
