Thread posts vanished

This is the thread where it had close to 100 pages, but now it is showing only 8 pages. Many posts have vanished. Not sure if someone hacked this thread. Very scary as this forum has many vital information.

Can you please help us in solving this issue? Is it  possible  to restore to very recent time where this thread had considerable amount of pages?

Yes, it happened couple of days ago when one our forum member notified me about this.

Today when I saw our forum, that thread was archived and locked. Nothing was lost which is good. Does this archive happen automatically when the thread crosses some specific number of pages?
