Report Post Disappears from Report List

Hello

When a post has been reported, and dealt with, updated to Read, it remains in the Report List.

Sometimes it disappears from the Report List. What causes it to be dropped off the list?

Where would I find the archive list?

There should be a text link (Archive) at the bottom of the report page.

I found the archives. Sorry, I meant the reported post is not in the archives.

No codes were messed with.

I can't do that because the post that was reported has disappeared.

I received an email that someone reported a post. I looked at the report, I saw the poster who reported it and read the comments. I dealt with the post.

I went back to report post list to copy and paste the comments to I can share the comments with the mod's and it was gone. This has happened a couple of times. There are other reports on the list.

Hello,

Reports can't be deleted, they are moved to archives by updating their status to 'Finished', a moderator can do this, you can sort your archives by dates so you can see clearly when the report was made and if indeed it was missing.

I did sort them by date and all other available options, in both the Archives and Report List, I do not see it.

I just wanted to understand the Report list process and you did clarify how they get archived. Perhaps we will keep an eye on it and c/paste any reported posts in case we loose it again.
