My forum logs me out after a few minutes

Hello,

When I'm writing a topic for my forum and I don't finnish it fast enough, my forum logs me out automaticly...
So every time I want to add the text that i've written, it says "please log in" or something, and my whole message is gone after that
And I'm not automaticly logged in when I visit the forum neither, but I did enable that option under the log-in...


I'm sorry for my bad English by the way, I'm Dutch

To go to Internet, you use a brower (for example Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox etc.).

Anyone who knows the solution for my problem?
On this forum I'm automaticly logged in when I enter it, but on my own forum I need to log in every time I'm on there, and even if I write a new post, the forum logs me out if it takes to long.
I do have "automaticly login by every visit" enabled on my forum...

I did everything that's in that topic, and my forum does not log me out so fast anymore.
But when I enter the main page of the forum, I still have to log myself in, it still does not remember my name and password.
