You change your avatar by clicking on "Profile" and then by clicking on "Avatar".
You can find many skins on HITSKIN.
You can ask for an userbar HERE.
If you activate your portal, it will automaticaly be the first page to load up.

I'm sorry but I am not able to give you the right answer for your other questions. Someone else will be able to give you the ones that you still need.

Have no idea how to attach it to your own forum server, but Rapidshare might do it.

How do i add GoogleAdsense?
ACP --> General --> Configuration --> Configuration. Find the option for activation them, click on "Yes", and be sure to set "All", so that everyone can view the Google Ads.

Can you add Affiliates?
Yes, go to ACP --> Modules --> Portal & Calendar --> Portal pages management --> Structure --> Affiliates, Modify.

Can you make the portal the first page that load up?
