2. how do I get rid of the stupid flood control?
3. how do I get more space for the gallery and allow users to post to it?

1- It's not possible for now.
2- Idem (you can post a suggestion in the appropriate section)
3- It can be done through the points management (look in the FAQ for the points management tutorial)

oook so I read the FAQ about points management.... I see no option for a module for points mangement in my admin panel....
