Portal page Background

I have a question, can we add an image as portal page background? is it possible?
right now in my idea, my forum's portal, the middle part is empty and I want to add an image as its background. how can I do that?

riyvil, please don't make such a useless post. If you know how to do it, please explain to them so they can do it, leaving a remark like that doesn't help anybody.

piratexqueen, I don't know if you can change it just for the portal, but you can set the background for all your pages. Go to admin panel->styles->pictures & colors->list of the pictures and there is a spot for the background image for a page, close to the top. Put your image in there and see if that does what you need it to do.

I changed the background before. but as the portal was empty, I thought if I add a background image there. but I think if I write news about my forum and add some other things to my forum and portal, I will not have an empty background anymore, is it right?

Well, it's possible to have a different background on the portal than the one for the rest of the forum, if it's that what you need. Just place this code below in one of your portal modules, doesn't really matter where. It will substitute the normal background:

<style type="text/css">body{background-image:url(IMAGE URL)}</style>

If you just need a space-filler, then I think it would be best to create a new module (check "Use a table typle" >> NO) and insert an image there:
