Html Pages not updating when submit button is clicked

This evening every time I make changes to any of my html pages, and hit the submit/send button, it takes me straight back to the administration homepage screen.. When I go back into the html page I was working with, no changes have taken effect. I've tried it several times now and have given up for the night.

Any ideas why this is happening? I've had it happen to me once or twice in the past but its a constant issue tonight
