Members been banned for no reason

A few members have tried to get on today and its saying they are banned!! i have checked thier ip's and there are none the same and i even deleted them all and it is still saying they are banned please help

Ok now its getting stupid another member has said it says thier account is inactive but it isnt it is active please help

Have you tried going to the Ban Control yet? If not, check and see if there is any on the Ban list.

Also, go to the userlist "Users & Groups / Users", click a user, scroll down and check if "User is active" is set to YES.

I checked them both so i wipped my banned ip's again and it let them on but we didnt add any new ones and they had been on before while they were banned we havnt put the ip's back as it keeps saying people are banned or inactive

If they are inactive, then go to User and Groups=>Inactive Users. Then just select all the users and activate them.

i have said i have done that they have been on loads before and posted it says they are active but not to them

Before moving this over to the Tech-section I'd like you to try changing their password in "Users & Groups / Users" and give it to them. Probably they only forgot their password - the message you get when entering an invalid PW also contains something like "invalid user", can't tell now by heart.
