Problem with website on registration
during the registration process of a new member, i required them to put their website (profile on other sites). However, even if they leave this section blank, they still can be registered without this info... I have already checked the "compulsary for registration" in the administration panel.
what else can I do so that if they leave it blank they cannot be registered?
Thanks for the reply

Re: Problem with website on registration
I am not sure how to fix that.
Although you can make it that an Admin has to activate the new members. So you can look at their profile before they can ever get on.
To do this: go to Admin Panel>Users&Groups>User Settings> New accounts activation as Admin>Save

Re: Problem with website on registration
But normally that should not happen. Really strange.
I have my members forced to type in their birthday and they have to put something in it to register (of course some still lie, but it's only for me).
But if you really want to be sure only people with a webpage register, Patty's suggestion is the best. As I said, people can still lie to you and type in any page.
On The Well (you find it in the promo stuff) I got a questionaire sent and was activated after I passed this. I guess that's the best if you only want certain ppl on your forum
