Firefox or Internet Explorer?

First topic message reminder :

Do you have Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer?
I have Mozilla Firefox and find it much faster and easier than Internet Explorer.

I encourage people to use firefox. Just use the original firefox not the firefox 3 and all that because it will be confusing.

Uh, nah, firefox 3... not yet at least. Tested it already and downgraded again to FF2. It was looking good though in terms of the interface, but I had serious problems. Could not upload any images properly, and pictures on homepages showed up only after a markable delay. Not to speak about the trouble with the addons, where several of them were not yet compatible with FF3.

I will use it when they have erased out the bugs.

i am actually using fire fox 2, i downloaded the third one but it was too confusing and had to much bugs

That's actually pretty easy on firefox in my opinion. In the extras tab click on Addons and switch to the themes tab. There is also a link that leads you to some downloadable skins.

I don't use a custom one though, my custom XP theme is already enough.

I've been a faithful FireFox user since it first appeared on the scene, and never looked back.

i just installed fire fox 3.0 because before i had like 1.0 or 2.0 and it was so laggy but today when i installed 3.0 fire fox is running so good!!! so i vote firefox

I have been using Firefox3 for along time since it first came out on Beta1.

were u using the beta? cus several addons are upgraded to firefox 3.0 and theres no problems for me at all



btw to all IE7 lovers test the speed difference while surfing not while opening it

its faster
it has good + usefull addons (easier installed also)
its safer
more user friendly
alot nicer themes to dl

because the writing is not clearer than internet explorer 7

firefox isn't faster than internet explorer i would say they both the same on the loading up speed.

why is it safer? if you only use firefox and you click on a keylogger you are still going to get keylogged if you go onto dodgy porn site you will still get virus, spyware or trogons i know for a fact firefox willn't stop these things.

i would say internet explorer 7 is lot user friendly then firefox.

it's all come down to how good you are on the internet.

Firefox also blocks pop-ups.

Firefox all the way... it has way more mods then IE, it has thousands of themes, and it is one the most user friendly, easy to use programs.

IE can't read .png images... it makes a nice white background instead of leaving the image transparent. Thats is a killer for me.
In addition , firefox is almost 100% user modified,meaning any old bloak can set up FF the way he wants... through bookmarks to tabs and the general display.

And don't go and say the new IE , that comes with vista is good, IE stole ideas from mozzilla.. for example tabs... older IE's didn't have it... FF had tabs from version 1,0.

I only use IE on 1 occasion... after a format I use IE to download firefox.
And spook, i seriously disagree... IE hasn't got the virus blocking capabilities of firefox.
I did a test once... using FF and IE...
I selected about 20 sites i think... with different configurations, and web formats... I picked sites with javascript and i even had 2 porn sites just to be sure.
I went over the sites using the 2 programs and my antivirus detected less threats using FF then IE
