try using this http://www.imeem.com/ i use it on my website it works fine, you can even open it up to a stand alone player Smile

just sign up and then start uplaoding etc(its not too hard to use at all)

To add music, you can go www.playlist.com

You can create a playlist with 99 Songs on it. You go to the site, get the code and then pick what you want.

Then go to your forum, go to the portal, and create a custom box and add the code.

Its really that simple.

i think he wants it to look like MP3? right? just use dizzler.com it has a theme mp3 the color is to choose from black and white, you can search songs, and so as youtube vidios Smile

I tryed to get started with music (playlist) stuff for my forum, but I didnt know where is the gap i have to paste my copied code...
I have a Forumotion based forum.

Can anyone help me? Confused

You should make a new widgets for ur music Kristine
go to Pannel==>Modules==> Create a new Customblocks==> Paste the code that u have copied from ur music source to HTML Source..

then save..

then place ur newly created widgets to ur forum click save

Done!

Sliker´s idea is good!!!

But I didn´t open this topic(as u can see). And i searched for this topic and replied by intention.
Maybe i am not right, but I think adding music from playlist.com is a bit different from adding a background music.
