(Only Topic ) Can't Post **General Error**

Hello.

I'm experiencing a few problems on my forum. The address is www.ourotherfamily.forumotion.com A few members said they can respond to posts, but they cannot start a topic. I've tried and for some reason I can't start a topic either.

I've checked permissions and everything looks fine.

Please help. Thanks!

if you can get on your forums then try checking the permissions in advanced mode for each forum and make sure you have it set for your members to post a topic...

Permissions are fine. I don't know what's wrong.

Can anyone help? Nobody can post new topics on my forum and I have no idea what's going on.

I see the problem as to why we can't see the site. The OP has to edit the post, at the end of the URL is a period but no space so its messing up the link

The forum is showing up but I'm still experiencing the problem with not being able to post topics.

My forum, www.ourotherfamily.forumotion.com has been experiencing this since yesterday.

When you try to post new topics, you get the error message, "General Error" "Error in Posting". We can respond to old topics but can't create new ones.

Can someone please help?

Sorry you are having problems. I hope they get this resolved soon.

We can't post new topics on my board either. Hopefully someone will respond before next year.

Exactly what is the average turnaround time for problems around here? This problem has been affecting out users for over a week now.

I could understand if someone from your team at least gave a time estimate. But this is ridiculous. Support is a major complaint about this service on the net and I see no effort on this issue to change that opinion.

As a free service I wouldn't expect zero day turn around. But a week!! A simple SQL debug would show the issue. Perhaps you need to start giving us more tools to trouble shoot out own problems if you, as the provider cannot be bothered to.

The issue has been solved already quite some time ago. A missing conclusive post does not imply there are still problems, but if you insist, have a look here, for example.

I do not see a solution on that link. Also that is not the same error occurring on our forum.

We can do everything expect create new topics. when submitting a new topic we get "General Error" "Error in positing"

Hube3443, Sunny_D is correct. This issue as well as the one he linked you too happened the same time, effected by a recent server glitch, but all members who came here with this problem has since had this problem resolved.
If you are still having this problem on your forum, please post a link to your forum, in this thread so as the techs may look into this further for you.

This error seems to be completely different from the one the other's posted in this thread.

And if this is the same error, why is it still not corrected?
