can i add a flash banner to my HOMEPAGE MESSAGE with code like this

Hello,

Go to your Admin Panel > Display > Homepage > Generalities > Homepage Message > Click the FLASH BANNER Act-html

button > Add Code > Save

when i did that i get this

FLASH BANNER Gqx-untitl

the first banner is a GIF IMAGE but the code is a FLASH BANNER and it's not showing

why?? Sad

Make sure you have enabled HTML by going to admin panel=>General=>Forum=>Messages and Emails and look for this option "Allow HTML" and make sure it's set to Yes.Also go to Profile=>Preferences tab(in your nav bar) and look for this option "Always allow HTML :" and choose Yes.

yeah, i've try that thanks a lot but every options with HTML is set on YES i think the problem is with the code, das anyone here have used something like this?

Try adding the code inbetween body codes

Yes, it seems that the address to your file is corrupted or not existing. If you check your codes again, have you changed the part "ffff.swf" to the URL of your uploaded swf file? You can, to my knowledge, upload them for examle on ImageShack - they will provide a direct link. Wink
