Gallery widget displaying unapproved images?!?

I have just setup our forum gallery, and added the gallery widget. Why does it display images that were uploaded and waiting for approval, to all users? That's a major flaw, what's the point of moderator approval? Someone could upload porn and members would be able to view it before it has been approved, making the entire point of approved images completely moot

Have you set up the gallery in the admin panel properly?

1. Admin panel\Modules\Personal Albums

2. Check to see if
"Personal albums pics must be approved by an administrator or by a moderator :" is set to yes and

"Personal album can be moderated by owner :" is set to No

Of course lol, mate I have owned and been the admin of another forum board for 4 years, it's all setup properly to disallow users to view images until approval by admin or moderators, I'm really not a complete muppet, the gallery widget is flawed, trust me on this.

I apologise if it seemed like i was treating you like you didn't know any better however i must ask these question no matter what level you are in order to know what exactly you have done and how you have it set, You haven't posted your settings previously!

I will however raise this with the staff and see if we can get this looked into

No offense taken mate. I just wanted to step in and let you know where I stand before you ask me a bunch of questions that don't need asking Thanks for giving this your attention, how will I know if any progress is being made about this bug?

Glad to hear it will be dealt with asap. At the moment we have a good bunch of members of whom we deem trustworthy, but as you well know, that could all change

Well monday is almost over, this major flaw is still there, when will this be fixed?

Ignoring the fact won't fix it...

Right sorry for the delay

I just checked what was going on

The fix was to be released along with the updates but there was bugs and other issues that needed rectified before release

The fix should be available tomorrow

I apologise for the delay
