Friends or foes management

Could someone please explain what the friends or foes option allows you to do please
i can only assume its something that allows u to say that someone is you're friend and someone isnt, but im not 100% sure, can anyone help decifer this please.

How you just explained it is exactly what it does, it simply allows you to save your friends and foes usernames ( I guess so that you don't forget *shrugs* ).

Friends
Your friends list allows an rapid access with the members with whom you often discuss.

Foes

Foes are members whose messages will not be entirely visible and of which you will not receive any more private messages.
Note that you cannot ignore the moderators or the administrators.

this my ex. list in my forum

Friends list: bio [x] , botkobotic [x] , Cephalic Carnage (online) [x] , Lithium [x]

i made in user profil page, using Templates->Profile->profile_view_body,
new table .... i want to try, put friends avatar there using Friend list.... but its hard :S and im not so good ....
can someone help me.....who have Templates enable.....
