friends/foes management
Can someone tell me what this feature provides "friends/foes management"? Does it enable a member to have the ability to block someones messages so they can't read anything from that individual? Or does it just prevent a member from being able to contact them via PM. What exactly does the "friends/foes management" feature entail?
Thanks
Thanks
Re: friends/foes management
Hi runawayhorses,
The friends/foes management system is just like the friends and ignore list feature used on other providers.
Friends - Simply go on someones profile, add them to your list and then from then on they show as your friend.
Foes - I'm not fully sure as I've never had to use this but I think It's when you add somebody to it, it ignores all there posts and doesn't let you contact them over pm.

Your friends list allows an rapid access with the members with whom you often discuss.
Foes are members whose messages will not be entirely visible and of which you will not receive any more private messages.
Note that you cannot ignore the moderators or the administrators.

Admin panel >> Users & Groups (tab) >> User options > scroll down till you find "User settings" and friends and foes management is there.

Re: friends/foes management
One more question on this please guys sorry to be a pain, i notice when i view a indivuduals profile if that member has friends in their list, then you can see each friends avatar.
Is it possible for me to set this up on our forum? If so any pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers for your time.
Noods.

You'll have to activate the advanced profile for all members:
Administration Panel=>Users and Groups Tab=>Users=>Profiles=>General Options=>Activate advanced profile=>Yes=>Save

Re: friends/foes management
Some my board's members have reported they are limited to only 9 friends. Is there any truth to this? If not, what is the limit to the number of friends a member can have?
Thx,
Aaron
