Passing leadership of a forum

Is there any way of passing the leadership of a forum? that is, if im the administrator, i want to have someone to be able to do EVERYTHING (including forum display) instead of me.

messages from the instant messaging is not, maybe yes, but I tell you

You probably mean that you want a co-administrator which has the same rights as you to be added, which can happen by adding him/her to the admin group via usergroups, and then he/she can login to the admin panel. However, be careful when doing so, and make sure you trust the person. By doing that, he can do everything/anything and as you said,

After that, he can do the things you mentioned, but if you mean like you are quitting being the admin of your forum and want to give the person that job, than you are as Joseph22 said, giving away your founder account.
