A different way to Moderate? (E.g Locking) Empty A different way to Moderate? (E.g Locking)

Post by Guest October 13th 2008, 8:05 pm

My moderators complain they don't like the Moderation system of scrolling to the bottom right of screen.
Is there anyway to move the Mod buttons or something to the top of a thread, make a panel for Mods, Thread tools at top of screen or something?

I just need a different layout for the Mod tools, is this even possible?

With template editing, anything is possible.

I have the mod bar in the posts.

You can always use bigger buttons. Bigger buttons make it so much easier and quicker to click on.

Template editing only works on Pbh2
The buttons are at the bottom of the screen though, what can I do to move them?

Ok now on Phpbb3 the mod tools icons are joined and effect other parts of the forum however the mod tool drop down can be moved :0

1. Navigate to:

Admin Panel\Display\Colors\CSS Stylesheet

2. Add the following code and press "Submit" to save

Code:
fieldset.quickmod {
   width: 50%;
   margin-top: -602px !important;
   float: right;
   text-align: right;
   height: 2.5em;
   }

This now gives you mod tools at the top and the bottom of the posts and page Very Happy

Regards

It hasn't worked :'( This is my problem...

A different way to Moderate? (E.g Locking) 2ywbxj9

It's in the complete wrong place all the time. It's pretty near the bottom. Definetly no where near the top.

Ok i apologize about the wait

Now this isn't a complete fix to move the mod tools
Unfortunately because i cannot get access to the html files for your forum to alter them the mod tools stay the same position on every page, Obviously if one page is larger or smaller than the other then it isn't going to work

The final answer on this question is,......

No this cannot be done at the moment
