Moderate PMs? Empty Moderate PMs?

I respect my users' privacy, but there have been reported cases of somebody sending another user illegal warez in PM, then they denied it. I wouldn't like to ban them unfairly, so is there anyway I can check their PM log?

No, There is not. I don't think any forum software allows you to do this. Except in a few forum softwares (SMF), there can be a Report to Moderator link on PM's, But I don't know how that works.

We can't install mods,so we can't sneak on our members private messages...

So,I suggest the member takes a screenshot of the pm,and send the image to you, thumleft

Then if the member is telling the truth,then you can ban them.
