Post by TheMark09 October 31st 2008, 10:12 pm

Hah I know I'm asking a lot of questions but I'm wondering if theres a way to set moderation queue. I want it to be for new members and members on probation.

Before you post a moderator has to approve it.

thanks for devolping it a bit mate.

No, this is NOT possable.
This im sure is never going to be an option for forumotion.
Something like this is stupid, and would not be a good thing for a forum.
Otherwise u need mods on it 24/7

I think this is good ideas. Normally I like admin than moderator. So making moderator working 24/7 is good way to abuse the moderators YAY...

I don't think it's stupid at all!!!! In fact, I asked if it was possible to do this some time ago and the answer, unfortunately, is no.

I want to put new members in a moderation queue for their first 10 posts and then take the moderation off. That way I can prevent new members sending abusive posts to the forum and upsetting others.

It's a perfectly legimate request and many forums offer this advanced moderation option.

Thanks. Yes it's a good idea for people on probation, or new users...

Since this members problem appears to have been resolved, I will now lock this thread to prevent further comments from being added, and add the solved tag to the title to indicate it's solved.
