Hi,

(sory for bad english)

i recently have deleted (not banned) one member, because he asked me to.

Member was problematic, he used to off-topic, and I often had to move his posts in to proper topic or forum.

i didn't want to ban him, because, well, I just didn't think I would have to ban enyone (we are very openminded, even when he was hostile), but, after I moved his posts several times, he asked me to delete his profile.

And I did it (he was very polite when he asked me to do it).

Now, suddenly a new member apears (as I've deleted that one).
That is strange, because I've opened a forum just for few of my friends, I never promoted it anywhere, and that deleted one member was uninvited (exidently found us on net).

I thought that that might be him (I've saved his IP adresses, just in case).
i tried to look in his profile - but, profil of ANOTHER MEMBER was opened.
I simply cannot open that profile, like it does not exist.

I see that new member on the bottom of page - but, the nubmer of member didn't change (it was 30 of us when I've deleted one, and now, with this new name, it's still 30 of members).

his name is NOT on the list of members - but still, there he is, on the bottom of the page.

Frenkly, I'm a afraid of hackers.

How is it possible to have new member and
a) he does not exist in list of members
b) he doesn't increase number of members for one
c) his profile is imposible to see

thank you for answer, and once again, sory for bad english.

It sounds more like it could be a fault with the profiles, a software i use this happens from time to time, where a profile isnt created right. Normally a resychronisation will fix that. In your admin, go to general and configuration, you should be able to resyc your forum in there, let me know if that fixes the profile so you can check it out properly.

Though you have not given out your Forum address, It is a possibility that you friends you have given your site URL to have actually invited more friends, and so the chain continues.

It's very common practice, people join sites via recomendations from their friends or random advertisments on sites the intentionally visit already.

Another possibilty could be that bots are sending your site URL to others and people are finding the URL of your site from their search criteria in their search engines.

I hope this helps you in any way.
