I just want to notify everyone that I saw a user on my forum named Capone/, and his email address is very obvious that refers to him as being Wildkat. I know he is ''impostering'', but the staff should do something about this..

EDIT: This is happening to forums, and the number is getting greater. List what your email has been changed to and see if it relates to anything..

Yes, but still. People lost their forums because of this dumb hacker.

I'm going to tell you guys something and you will need to think about it.

Has any staff posted anything about this so called hacker yet?
If the staff did know they would of told us by now. This could of been a glitch in the system when a member makes a new forum it got deleted. Just claim down and live your life!

A member on here knew that this "hacker" had been on my forum within minutes of them being on my forum there were no guests or members apart from this so called "hacker" on my forum between the hacker being on my site and the pm on this site saying they saw the "hacker" on my site

is that suspicious or is it just me?

After checking out using various tools including a proxy search tool I have found the ip Edited by Skittles to remove IP address to be very secure and also not part of a proxy.
So my suggestion is to ban this ip address in all of your forums.

But wont they just start using a proxy if we do that

he ws banned from my site about 2 months ago he was in as Hellboy on my site same ip address as yours gave Not the same email address

He was banned for lot of things on my site.

He come im all nice to start off with and asked to become a admin of my site
i told him that i don't take on other members that have a there own accounts with a forum i was really nice about how i said No to him and yet he kept on at me
i then asked him to hold on till the site getts a bit bigger and i get to know him and i will thing about it some more
i them spoke to a mate of mine and she said that its not really that good having a 16 year old working for a site that has a age range from 13 up
as some of the forums are for over 18's and how can he admin that part of the site if the rules for that bit was 18 + only
so i got back to him and told him that as he was not over 18 i will not be taking him on as a co admin
He then got really mad and then told me he was going to have my site hacked and that i was going to get my site closed by This site as he was going to make some stuff up about my site to get it closed.

so if you see this chatter please keep him out he is nothing but trubble if he asks to help out make sure its a No he will change your accounts and remove your passwords.

if i was you ban the 2 email adress's and the ip as well i know he could just make a new one but the ip is the only ip he has so it wil be banned.

i have also sent a email to windows live about this guy aswell and not yet got a email back but im sure i will as hacking with there email accounts are not on i know this as i have sent a email to them befor and there account was removed with in a week of me sending the info so keep all the info you can about him and save it on your comp screenshot are good to have of what he has been doing.

What, did someone mention that this hacker is using the Alias Wildcat?

I am not sure, but this is a serious matter indeed, as a Wildcat has recently joined my Forum too..

Any of this match up - I haven't banned him as he seems inactive on my site.. Secondly, I am in full control still.. he could always have a "Shared IP" address.. but I don't know yet.

Wildkat also joined my forum as well. It seems that the hacker is controlling him or something. He made a post in my General Discussions forum and said "Hi Ppl".

He made 1 or 2 posts.

Firstly, was "Count to 1000" - I HATE THOSE DUMB GAMES!

Secondly, he said Hi and he really liked the Forum..

He did the second thing that you said to me.

When Wildkat (Capone/) joined, I clicked on his profile and saw that his email was Wildkat.something.com.

It seems this hacker is controlling Wildkat.

Prince caspian sent me strange PMs on here minutes after capone/ joined my site

People, lets remember an ip address belongs to the provider NOT the individual person. I had nothing happen to my forum at all other then private messages. Whoever capone was and the ip address that I posted the person was just doing it for kicks. I went in and check no o the box that I was told to and everything has been fine since.

Can our forums get hacked, well I guess it is possible since anything is possible. Did my forum get hacked, NO. Just someone confused with what holiday it was.....lol.

Maybe the hacker IS 'Wildcat', and now he has been found out, his actions on Forumotion have recently dropped.

Did you notice he has hardly been active recently.

I don't want to point fingers, I have doubled my security, with two password log-ins to reach Admin Panel.

Also, the emails are completely fake and not real whatsoever..

I have a ton of different emails from last night. None of them checked out. Again though I will say it was just someone getting there rocks off. My forum suffered nothing from it. It is kinda really funny today to sit back and laugh about it.

In that case, if he was planning to do something to my forum, he would have done it by now.

I am going to keep the exra security I set for the 'Admin Panel' I think... doesn't hurt to keep it, beats losing my entire Forum for the sake of not putting in a password.

That Wildcat is the same person that messed with me and my forum. So I banned the IP that you guys listed above, bc that is the same IP I got when I checked his info. He claimed to be a girl from England, and kept changing his profile information. When I banned him from my site I got nasty e-mails AND harassing pm's from this forum as well. So I have it all saved still.

I hope the Admins can do something about this. It's really unnerving.

Okay guys, enough with posting personal information such as email addy's, ip numbers and IP information, not to mention links to other forums, unless of course you would like to be warned next time.

I understand your frustration with this situation. It happens to the best of us, no matter what type of forum u are running, unfortunately. But it's all part of having a forum unfortunately. We have to take the bad with the good.

I suggest if you need to post any IP information regarding this or anything like this, that you do this via pm to Typlo if it is something of concern that is within our power to fix. Otherwise, please refrain in the future from posting this type of information, as it is unacceptable.
