Installing a skin?

installing a skin yea that's my problem well i got this skin from this website and i have it here I am just
wondering how to put it in my forums anyone?

I dont know what you mean.

You go to Hitskin, choose your skin, click on it and you will notice a small button named "Install the skin". Once you click it, your forum will have the skin you selected.

You could also try Administration Panel / Display / Choose a theme

I presume you mean a theme from PHBB3 themes or of the sort?
If you do, then you will have to upload each image individually.

Why ? The above method worked for me when i changed skin from phpbb2 to phpbb3 and all the buttons came with it.

But if he got the theme from another site, and it is not listed in the themes to install, he will need to do each image individually and add the css also.
