Help installing a skin

Greetings,

I would like to install a specific skin but i got a little problem. The skin I would like to install is this

The problem is that I want the settings and effects of that skin (like logo enlarge when cursor on it and buttons too) but i want different background no animated. I can't find a way how to change that

Also i can't seam to add any extra buttons (i add them in headers and navigation menu but they dont appear in forum) and also when i preview the skin on my forum the navbar seams to go on the announcements area and the buttons i already added in the past and was shown in my previews skin it won't show any more (http://prntscr.com/1fd9oa)

Can someone check that skin and tell me if im doing something wrong or if there is something wrong with the skin?

I'll only check first thing with you: have you checked the theme version; is it the same as your site's theme? otherwise, it will look distorted

yes i have phpb2 (i think) same as the skin

Administration Panel > Display
It will tell you what version you have.

Try this:

Install the default phpBB 2 theme, then install the theme you want.

I just did it but it didn't work. With the default style everything changed back to normal (navbar showing properly) but when i installed the other skin i had the same issue. The navbar would just show only the 5 buttons.
