Birthdays don't seem to show at the bottom of my forum without look forward enabled

Hi Folks,

I have birthdays enabled on my forum in the administration panel and the event/birthday will show up on the calendar. I have the birthday look forward enabled as well to look ahead 1 day and if I do this, then the birthday will show up at the bottom of the home page on my forum. If I disable the "look forward", the birthday doesn't show.

Is this the way it's supposed to work? Does the birthday event time go by a different time than I've set my forum too? Just really confused here.
