A question about HTML pages please

Hello,
My name is Raqual..i'm recently new to forumotion after moving my group from MSN...So MSN is the only html experience i have but it's a modified easy peasy html
Do any of you know how the MSN groups worked??Where you could have the first post with a webset and pretty stuff....Can i do that in forumotion??I've tried making a html page then pasting that code into my first post but with no luck I am html illiterate outside of msn i'm very sorry.
I have spent the past few weeks reading all the html posts in here but can't find anything that really helps me unless i'm missing it which wouldn't suprise me

hi. i have no idea what you're talking about. forumotion filters some html tags. go to admin panel >> modules >> html pages management and post your code there.

Yes hun i done that...What i want is for a webset in the very first post of a thtread...such as a sign in thread or announcent thread....Thankyou anyway♥

can you define "webset and pretty stuff..."
Maybe post a link to a page that has what you are looking for.

It would be easiest to just make a html webpage using CSS to place your Images and Text.
Then link the pages into the section you would like your "Announcements" to be located by the use of a <iframe></iframe>.

Hi Punk..thankyou for your help yesterday...I gave up trying it your way...LOL...i'm just not getting it and i'm not even blonde...

I'm trying to edit the codes i have to get them to fit properly...I can copy and paste the pages but they end up stretched...so a bit of patient tweaking is in order

We moved from MSN also not too long ago and I had the same prob with copying and pasting backgrounds from MSN to the forum - all ended up stretched it was driving me mad trying to figure it out lol
But I finally got the coding right woot!!
I will upload the code for you and pm you with it
You upload your tiles as normal and insert the URL's in the code

I have same problem I have backgrounds from msn also, still stored there and trying to find a way to be able to post up.
I have stored many tiles in my photobucket but no idea how you get the code for the background and insert tiles.
May I ask you to PM me also with any instructions you may have please
