Automatic updating avatar

Like on the forum leaders here, how can I enable having the staff members avatar and it updating every time I change.
So lets say I had the one I have now and then I changed a day later, how can I enable that the thread with my avatar on, auto updates? Like forum leaders here.

I think each time a moderator changes his/her avatar they to and exit the leaders thread but i am not sure.

Are you referring to the 'staff of forumotion' thread?

If so, the staff manually update their avatar there
