Solved im stuck trying to make a link on a side widget open to a new page

im trying to this with this code

Click <a href="http://www.momsonthego.ca/free_gift_bags.html" target="_blank">
HERE</a>


but its just showing the code. I can make the link work, with a regular link code, but I dont want my members to be taken away from the board. I want a new window to open.

any ideas on what im doing wrong?

Before you put the code, press the 'A' button on the top right corner and then try.
