Widges only on Home page & Someting Else

How can I make the widges apear only on the home page? It's possible?
Can I make my forum Private from guest, I mean that on the home page to appear only the login section.
And to make my forum something like this one for the healp. To appear a categorie on eny forum I go and post at the top. Example:
