How do I accept members?

Hi,

I am new at having a board but how do you accept members!! I need help!!

I can't figure out either how to do the Accepting and making forums can you help?

For accepting members: Admin panel > Users & groups > Users > Inactive Users > Activate members

For making forums: Admin Panel > General > Forum > Categories & Forums > Click the add icon (the green plus sign) and add the forums/categories

Dralimax explained it all, but why do you need to activate members. I don't remember where, but there is a tab on your Admin Panel, from which you can Auto-Activate Members, so you don't have to do it yourself or go and make them activate their account from their e-mail address. The reason they have the option of activate members manually is so that strangers can't join. (just to be safe)
