Hacker and Abuse and Litigation reports Empty Hacker and Abuse and Litigation reports

Post by Jim-Bob April 23rd 2009, 11:22 pm

The same hacker (I assume) who deleted the files a few days ago is still pestering my site with posting many dirty images and is also reporting "abuses" and "litigations".

Is there any advise beyond the obvious to get rid of this guy?

How can I clear these abuses etc up as there are many of them and haven't anything to do with us.

I'm not posting my site address in public, who can I PM about this?

To make it harder for this guy

Make the new registern for admin

Admin Panel>>User & Gorups>>User Options>>Click on Admin>>Save
This will make it so that admin have to look to see who registerd and if they want them.

I would ban the guy- Email, and username.

If you still want help I would recommend you PM Typlo about this.

Atleast when I say that I say what the range is, doubt he knows what it is. And by IP range you will ban pretty much anyone on the same ISP as him, for a small forum its fine, but larger forums it is a HUGE risk.

This means banning the first 2 subnets, so if his ip is 123.123.123.123, you will ban 123.123.*.* (or however u do wildcards on forumotion)
