Smilies NOT moving categories (difficult problem) [solved]
ok, this is a weird one!
Iv accidentally placed some smilies in
the wrong category (don't ask me how) and iv been trying to move them
to the category that they should be in, however, they are being
stubborn and not moving from "Category 2" into "Category 1"
What I have done:
Clear my cache & history in both IE and FF (I use FF except when testing coed, I use IE)
I have also tried doing it in IE, but neither are working.
I have also changed the skin (I knew it would help out, but gave it a shot)
And the forum is PHPBB2, and I refuse to go into the templates!! (anyways their not the problem)
So
like I said, iv got a tonne of stubborn smilies (120 to be exact) that
I cant move, and I don't want to manually download them and re-upload
them onto the forum.
Does anyone have any idea's??
Edit: I deleted my previous topic, and moved it here, which is the best place to have it.

Re: Smilies NOT moving categories (difficult problem) [solved]
I don't believe its possible to move the smileys from one category to other darren.
that one is to move the order of the smiley.
So yes if you want to add it to a category, you have to re-upload it again.

So are you saying that the option that says "move category" is now disabled sanket?
Thanks for your assistance

But that too is as good as doing it one by one?

Re: Smilies NOT moving categories (difficult problem) [solved]
It is true. There is an option like the one Darren stated above.
Darren, make sure that the smilie code isn't in the categorie you want to move it to.Because two of the same codes can't be used in one categorie.

Then again, you can just rename Category 2 into Category 1,

This way is easier, and far less time consuming.
You don't have to delete anything, or re-upload anything, just move.
Its like moving forum A into category A

Checked that, there isnt any similar either

That's cheating my members, and they still have to change categories to get the other smilies.

Re: Smilies NOT moving categories (difficult problem) [solved]
I can't really think of a solution.
I tried it on my other test forum as well, it works there as well.

Re: Smilies NOT moving categories (difficult problem) [solved]
Darren, i tested it. The issue is of moving it from category 2-1, 3-1, 4-1, 5-1
Issue is also on my forum, you have to reupload if you want it in category 1
The move option works for other categories only issue is with moving anything to category 1.
