Auto Refresh on Chatbox isn't working anymore.

First topic message reminder :

For some reason, Auto Refresh won't work anymore.
It only refreshes every time I post.
I've tried logging out and back in, and closing the screen and going back on.
Apparently it won't fix the problem.
(I also made sure the Auto Refresh button is checked, it is.)
So can anyone please help?

Thank you Mr. Mario for your reply to us. It is refreshing to finally get a response on here. Can you please keep us updated as to what they think it may be, ect. Just please don't let us think we are all alone in this. I will take your information back to my members and see what they would like to do in the meantime.

I am relieved that the techs are giving this priority and are currently working on it. My request is that Typlo keep us updated from time to time as the go between for us and the technicians.

Typlo posted in the other thread on this (in the other problem subforum) that the box was designed to not show the chat without being logged in and that a bug allowed it to be. He thought that by fixing that, all the bugs were solved and the techs were done. We pointed out this problem that was introduced. He has not responded back. So I hope you are right Mr. Mario, that the techs indeed are aware of this and working to resolve it.

As you can see, the chatbox is crucial to several of our boards.

Just thought I'd add that I'm also experiencing this problem. Seems to be effecting everybody.

Mr. Mario or Typlo, do we have any news on this matter yet?

A moderator locked the thread as solved and it was quickly buried. It was working perfectly until today. I guess the technicians made some changes to the coding trying to fix it. It failed, but also rendered the patch useless.

Oh phooey, so it is still down then.

Thanks for letting me know. It would have been nice had this thread been posted on also, but then it would have been locked and lost too I guess.

At least strides are being made and soon one of the patches will stick.

So, a member managed to fix this while the techs were utterly ignoring this problem, and then the techs reported it as solved, then the techs managed to break the chatbox again?! Un@*#!ing believable. The chatbox is MUCH more important than you guys think. I for one am ready to look for another host, and I'm sure that lots others are right behind me.

Come on guys, get w/it.
