Favicons

How do i make my own favicon, i have the picture however it doesn't load.

it needs to be in .ico format.

after, you upload it, get the link.

then, go to acp, forum = configuration, and then paste the link in the box where it says forum favicon.

It doesn't have to be a .ico format. I used .jpg for it.

Edit the name of the picture,and at the ending, remove anything that is after . , and type in ico

It has to be the correct size as a normal favicon.

They have to be: 16 x 16 pixels Wink

Maybe they have to be in .ico format? I'm not sure, but my favicon (not .ico) also don't work.

..But I don't know where to change it into .ico. My Corel Paint Shop Pro, don't got that format. And its a really pro program confused

You can download free plug-in for photoshop to save pic as .ico . Just google.
You can also use pic with .png or .jpeg ending but IE will not show it then.
It can be a pit bigger as well than 16X16.
I made .ico but can't upload it to my forum root galery. Other simple galerys change it back to .jpeg.
Any suggestions Question

sorry for the slight hi-jack. But i used photobucket to get the IMG code for mine, and then entered it in the part of forum administration for favicons, and it shows, but when it shows in the web browser, it is VERY small. And I made it HUGE. Idk why it is so small, here it is- Favicons Untitled-4

EDIT: This is where i am editing the favicon - ACP>General>Config>Forum Favicon
