Favicons help me please

I followed the instructions, but I did not understand at all. How do I get a url with a .ico for my favicon? I know how to add it to the website once I just have the favicon url/link.

This is the image that I want to put as my favicon:

ACP/General/configuration/general/3rd line is Forum Favicon

upload your icon to fileden(I think they are the only ones that host .ico files) then put image link in the Forum Favicon text box.
You don't have to have it in .ico file. I used a png file for mine. Need to make it 16 x 16 pixels

Make sure you click save of course

Go here and open one.

After you open an account, you'll see in the menu "Upload"
Just click that and do what it says. After you upload it, they give you the url address of the file you uploaded.

Flamin, IE doesn't really support it. Try Firefox, it shows the favicon.

Ok, I have internet explorer, how do I make it so that internet explorer will show the favicon? Is there some setting that I need to change?
