Why was the original administration panel removed from user Admin access?

How was ForuMotion made? Like what program, what admin panel etc.

Geeks, a computer, notepade (or anything close enough), time, patience, pre-made structures (phpBB.com)

Did I mention geeks + time + patience?

Do you have to get phpbb's ok for you to host forumotion since you are using phpbb and modifying it?

phpBB has a free license, so as long as there's a link back to them (the footer) then we're all good.

At the base it was coded in phpBB, now it's coded to resemble phpBB, but ForuMotion and phpBB are not compatible anymore. At least that's what's the techies told me

Of course it's not anymore, it has been modified to suit with Invision etc, and many mods have been added.
That's why you can't get your Forumotion database to transfer it into a phpBB board. Or you should also get the files used in here.

You've got it. The mods need a big adaptation to suit to everything already modified. That's why they can't do it in three seconds

When you install a skin from hitskin on to your forum does it need to have links at the bottom of the page like 'Create Free Forum', 'Free Forums' ect, ect?...

Of course it does, creating a skin doesn't give the right to remove the copyright, and the link to phpBB, or forumotion will be outlaw.
Just give the address of the skin to Jalokim by PM and he will work on it

I believe it was never possible to access the administration panel as a user.

Yes I am well aware of that thread. Thats the thread that tells us who is staff and who has been staff and when ther departed etc..
