Embed Chatbox in overall header

is it possible to embed the forums chatbox on overall header, so that i can view it in all the pages

Try an iframe-chatbox in your header by placing this code in "Site description"

A chatbox in the header takes up a lot of real estate & doesn't look very good. imo
You could "pop-up" your chatbox & position it on the side to keep an eye on messages.
This would give your members the option of seeing the chatbox... or not.
