Solved Problems with Forum Content Width

Post by angelicq July 15th 2009, 2:06 am

Hello. I have tried editing my forum width but it doesn't seem to be working. The homepage is big enough, but when you click on the forums to post in topics, the middle column (forum content) is bunched up. I added some forum widgets yesterday and I want to increase the width of the forum content only. At least to have it as big as the viewing page as it is in the homepage.

Here is the link to the homepage:

Here is the link to a topic for the forum content viewing:

forum content real small

Thanks ahead of time Smile

I have tried that but it hasn't worked. Maybe it only increases if I have a bigger banner or put an image that stretches it out?

Solved Re: Problems with Forum Content Width

Post by angelicq July 15th 2009, 5:19 am

Ok, I solved my own problem. What I did was go to Admin Panel > Display Tab > Homepage => Headers & Navigation and scrolled down to where it says "force Navbar to remain on one line" and clicked "Yes" circle.

Before, I had chose No when I was messing around with the width. The one-line navbar makes the page width bigger, which means a bigger forum content space that I wanted. Though you have to scroll to the right a little, but its not too bad.

There's other things to make it bigger, I suppose using a wider banner and images or adding links to the navibar using one-line option.

Anywho, thanks to those who replied to this topic in a timely fashion. I appreciate the help.

THANKS. Problem Solved!! :wouhou:
