Copied content width

In our forum, we have a forum with all the content from the same source (I have emails on file, with permissions to use materials). My problem, as you'll see, is that some of the content is the correct width, while others are way too narrow. Rather than copy & paste from the articles, I prefer to copy the source code and paste it in, so I get images and everything at once. I have looked at the code, but could not find anywhere to adjust the column width. The content is much wider in the source article.
