missing post??

hi can anyone help with this i run a forum for my customers to give me feedback of courses that they have completed.
I have just loged on to see that atleast 1 if not 2 post have gone completely ,, i have contacted the peron who posted and they have not removed them ,, even if they can ,, so where have they gone , any idears ,, have i been hacked??

Forumotion did went though a problem with 4 servers and lost some data, they did they their best to recover it but they couldn't. There is really no other option for getting them back and making them again.
