Forum under construction

For the first time,I would like too put my forum under construction.I would like to explain too people who visit too why it is under construction.How do I do a message?

Ok, so first you go;
Admin Panel => General Admin => Configuration => Configuration
=> Forum in Construction => Yes

Now that you're forum's in construction, you'll want to warn you're members

Admin Panel => General Admin => Homepage => Welcome message
=> Title: As you like
=> Content: Forum in Construction for X, Y & Z reasons

I'd also advise sending a newsletter before hand as well
Admin Panel => General Admin => Newsletter
