Forum transfer from another host to Forumotion

Hello!

I'm interested in moving my forum from another host, in forumotion and I have some questions.

1. I have purched a domain name for my forum, and I want to know if I can keep it here. If I understood correctly, I must get a "transfer code" from my previous host, and provide it here.

2. Can the existing members/subforums/topics/threads be moved in my new forum in forumotion? Is this done automaticly? By Forumotion staff? By me?

3. I read that the domain name costs approximately 15.00 $. Is this price per year? How much credits does it cost to remove the ads?

It is not possible to transfer your forum to forumotion.

Is it possible to create a new forum with just the same name in forumotion (without members, old posts etc.)?

My subscription with my current host is ending soon and I don't plan to renew it.

Hello,

You can move to forumotion, but you can't transfer any members, posts, ect.

But, you can re-create the sub-forums, ect, manually,

And, you can buy a domain name for 1600 credits.

And to remove ads:

Registered Users:You can choose below the additional time during which ads will be disabled for your members

Add 1 month(s) : 100 Credits
Add 2 month(s) : 200 Credits
Add 3 month(s) : 300 Credits
Add 6 month(s) : 500 Credits
Add 12 month(s) : 1000 Credits

Members and anonymousYou can choose below, the additional time during which ads will be disabled for your members and your guests.


Add 1 month(s) : 200 Credits
Add 2 month(s) : 400 Credits
Add 3 month(s) : 600 Credits
Add 6 month(s) : 1000 Credits
Add 12 month(s) : 2000 Credits

But, you can disable ads from your forum if it's new. Because of a new update for the newer forums,

So, you don't have to pay,

Just disable them :

Administration panel=>General Tab=>Forum=>Configuration=>General=>Activate ads=>No=>Save
