Avatars Not Showing

On my forum right now, certain avatars are not showing anymore. I've tired to find a pattern and I can't find any, as to why some show and others don't (i.e. avatars linked from Photobucket or members avatars being used from the forums avatar gallery, it is completely random as to why some avatars will show and others do not. This happened rather suddenly in the last 8 hrs. No consistencies I can find in the problem. I was hoping someone could give me an explanation as to what the problem is.

Please read the topic in the announcement forum every forum is having the same issue do to the new servers.

Open your forum to guests so that by veiwing it an explanation might be found
check the smileys here and you'll see it's not just your forum affected

No I won't do that, my forum is for registered members only to view the posts. Thats the way I want it.

Thanks everyone for your explanations, I'll just wait it out. I did find out however, if you re-upload your avatar is will show again.
