moving forum to another server
We [read: our game clan 4S SQUAD] have established our own web site and we would like to move our current forum to a new address and server.
Is it possibile, and if it is, how can I manage that?

Re: moving forum to another server
Sorry there is no way of moving data over to your own server since Forumotion own's the database and will never provide it. You can contact Typlo for a domain transfer code but that it.

About the only thing you can do is let your members know of the new forum and tell them you will leave the old forum open for a period of time if anyone would like to go there and move any of there post over to the new forum.

Re: moving forum to another server
im in the process right now at setting up a new forum on a different server, this one has gone down the drain. They tell you how to do a temp fix and even that isnt even accessible! As soon as my forum on here is up, everything gets copies and pasted into the new forum.
Re: moving forum to another server
Well then there is no need to keep this topic open if you know what you are going to do.
